AOPA tells FAA: No TFRs for amateur rocketsAOPA tells FAA: No TFRs for amateur rockets

Pilots have too many pop-up temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) to look out for all across the country. AOPA is opposed to more being added, specifically for amateur rocket activity in the National Airspace System.

AOPA has formally told the FAA that TFRs should not be used for any amateur rocket activities.
