AOPA Aircraft Financing Program extends hours
Service hours for the AOPA Aircraft Financing Program have been extended, allowing faster response to customer calls during peak periods.
The new AOPA Aircraft Financing Program hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, all Eastern Standard Time. The schedule adds 22 hours per week and allows superior service for customers in the western United States.
"AOPA members are buying aircraft in record numbers," said Bud Walker, vice president of sales and marketing for MBNA America, which operates the AOPA Aircraft Financing Program. "With these new customer service hours, we're able to minimize waiting time and provide additional resources to resolve difficult customer questions."
The AOPA Aircraft Financing Program features low "member only" rates and one of the longest repayment terms in the industry, keeping monthly payments lower than most other financing options. In most cases, aviation loan experts can respond to a loan application within 15 minutes.
"In addition, AOPA members receive a free basic AOPA membership for the entire life of any loan of $20,000 or more," said AOPA Senior Vice President Karen Detert. "And MBNA makes a contribution to AOPA with every loan, helping keep general aviation strong and your dues low, at no additional cost to you."
