Qref, maker of avionics checklists and guides, has come out with a new quick-reference guide for a number of different GPS units. The checklists are two-sided hard plastic cards that contain the basic functions of the applicable unit.
According to the company, “The card is designed to aid the pilot in common, yet often forgotten or overlooked procedures, including those for flight plans, moving maps, approaches, and settings.”
Currently Qref offers the checklist for 38 model-specific units, including most made by Garmin, Lowrance, Bendix/King, Avmap, Avidyne, and Magellan. Fully integrated cockpit systems, single panel-mounted GPS receivers, and portables are all available.
Each card is full-color and measures five inches by eight inches. Suggested retail price is $14.95.
