Toilets for TBMs

Daher-Socata announced a new toilet option for its TBM 700 and TBM 850 airplanes. The $9,990 option swaps out the airplanes’ intermediate middle seat with a flushing chemical toilet that is widely used in the marine industry. The toilet perfectly matches the TBM’s leather interior and upholstery, and was created in partnership with Catherineau, a Bordeaux interior specialist. The seat can be installed and removed within minutes, Daher-Socata said.

“Recent customer surveys have shown that TBM operators are flying increasingly longer distances with their aircraft, and we have decided the toilet option was an important step in offering additional passenger comfort,” said Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of the Daher-Socata Airplane Division.
