Sandel introduces low-cost GA EFIS
O RLANDO, F LORIDA—Sandel Avionics of Vista, California, is displaying its low-cost electronic flight instrumentation system (EFIS) on the exhibit hall floor at AOPA Expo. The electronic color LCD can depict moving map, HSI, RMI, lightning data, radar altimeter, and other parameters. The SN3308 also provides a built-in switching/annunciator unit for IFR-approach approved GPS units. Sandel expects to receive an STC by January and plans to offer the unit for $7,895.
