GA Serves America: DR COPTER
Dr. David Nichols knows the value of GA. For more than three decades he has been flying to the tiny island of Tangier off the coast of Virginia to provide health care to the island’s 600 residents. Nichols originally started serving the island by flying in his Cessna Skylane and now flies his Robinson R44 helicopter to the island. Spend a day with the doctor in this online video.

We didn’t start out planning to super-equip the already pristine Cirrus SR22 donated by J. Lloyd Huck for our 2009 sweepstakes, but the temptation to trick out our Let’s Go Flying airplane couldn’t be resisted, especially when this safety opportunity presented itself.
