What Is ADS-B?

Oh, the acronyms in aviation! And here’s one of the latest—ADS-B. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast is one of the primary technologies supporting the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen), which is the FAA’s initiative to modernize the air traffic control system.
