ME3: Munsungan Lake SPB
Bradford Camps, Maine
Flying boat enthusiasts will be thrilled by the Sikorsky Seminar Splash-In July 9 through 11. Bradford Camps is a sporting lodge in northern Maine, which features docks and ramps for floatplanes. The weekend includes presentations on the life and work of Igor I. Sikorsky, featuring his World War I airplanes, flying boats, and helicopters.
AID: Anderson Municipal Airport
Darlington Field, Anderson, Indiana
The Anderson Municipal Airport (Darlington Field) will reach its fiftieth birthday this summer, and the July 10 celebration surrounding this historic event will match its significance. Attending pilots will enjoy fuel discounts and the red-carpet treatment. Pilot and space traveler Mike Melvill is an Anderson native and will be on hand for the celebration.
FHR: Friday Harbor Airport
Friday Harbor, Washington
The charming town of Friday Harbor will host its first-ever Fly-In and Open House on July 24. The celebration marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the airport and the sixtieth anniversary of the town. In addition to warbird and vintage aircraft displays, Westwind Aviation will feature a flight simulator and Naval Whidbey Island
will display its search-and-rescue helicopter.
N03: Cortland County Airport
Chase Field, Cortland, New York
Airfest 2010 takes place July 17 in central New York State. There will be vintage aircraft demonstrations and displays; airplane, helicopter, and glider rides; an RC aircraft show; "Crossroads" the Clown show; and a fish fry and barbeque. Three FAA Wings seminars will be held on the field.

The country’s premier admission-free helicopter-only event lands in California with helicopters from law enforcement, public service, emergency medical services, and the military. This is the American Heroes Air Show, which takes place July 24. The show honors the real-life heroes who save lives and protect communities every day.
