When the tower's closed

What to do in order to land

Most air traffic control towers close when traffic slows down for the night. But does that mean you're no longer allowed to land at that airport?

Not at all. At most airports, the tower frequency becomes a common traffic advisory frequency. You can identify that by a negative C on the sectional next to the tower frequency.

When you fly in, simply announce your position on the tower frequency as you would any other airport without a control tower.
