Daher-Socata announces TBM maintenance program
Daher-Socata unveiled an exclusive maintenance program for newly purchased TBM 850 turboprops at AOPA Aviation Summit in Long Beach. The maintenance program provides free scheduled maintenance for five years or 1,000 flight hours, and extends avionics and systems warranties to five years. The airframe warranty is extended to seven years.
“During today’s challenging economic times, Daher-Socata believes it is our role to assist potential customers in new purchases, especially for those who operate aircraft for their business or trade,” said Nicolas Chabbert, president of Socata North America. “By offering this powerful warranty and exclusive maintenance package, we expect to help new customers streamline their transition to turbine aircraft ownership.”
He said the TBM 850 is the world’s fastest single-engine turboprop, with a maximum cruising speed of 320 KTAS at Flight Level 260 in standard conditions. It offers good range and useful load, as well as an ability to operate from small airports, Chabbert said.
The program will accompany new TBM 850s purchased through Dec. 31—aircraft purchases that also are eligible for bonus depreciation, the company noted.— Mike Collins
