Mission accomplished in the snow
“It took two days to complete the checkride because of numerous snow squalls in the area with temps in the 15-to-19-degree F range. What a fantastic feeling to finally complete this mission. As a disabled military veteran, I am entitled to attend a certified professional aviation piloting program through the vocational rehabilitation component. The training is not easy; we are swamped with rules, regulations, procedures, restrictions, and, on top of that, flying an airplane to boot."
