Beyerdynamic recently introduced its newest high-end noise canceling headset, the HS 800. According to the company, advances in feedback and feed forward technology make this headset their best yet.
At 11 ounces and fitted with viscoelastic ear pads covered in leather, the headset is no doubt comfortable. But according to Beyerdynamic, it’s the integration of a digital feedback filter that greatly improves performance. Previous headsets featured a digital feed forward system, but analog feedback. The result was increased background noise and imprecise communications. But according to Beyerdynamic, this all-new fully digital headset changes that.
Three versions of the headset are available, including the standard two plug, single helicopter plug, and ship power plug. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability. Although a company release said it is now available, the website still doesn’t have it liste
