2012 'Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot's Guide' available

The thirty-fourth edition of the Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot’s Guide has been published. The 2012 edition of the 400-page spiral bound book includes newly designed island maps and an extended Haiti section for humanitarian aid pilots, according to Pilot Publishing Inc.

The guide is tabbed into sections about the Bahamas; the Turks & Caicos; Hispaniola/Cuba (Dominican Republic, Haiti); the Western Caribbean (Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Yucatan, Belize, Roatan); Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; Eastern Caribbean (Anguilla south to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao); the United States (Florida airports with customs); and survival. Each section includes travel information, accommodations, and car rental listings. Pilot information includes frequencies, runway hours, fuel availability, aerial photographs, GPS designators, and longitudes and latitudes. A general information section discusses customs, flight plans, forms, procedures, and requirement equipment.
