FAA Acting Administrator Michael Huerta will share his vision for GA's future in the Friday keynote session at AOPA Aviation Summit, which takes place in Palm Springs, Calif., Oct. 11 through 13. AOPA President Craig Fuller, AOPA Editor in Chief Tom Haines, and Flying magazine Editor in Chief Robert Goyer will debate the pros and cons of the presidential candidates, and other issues facing GA.
With the November election approaching, Fuller will provide insight into the workings of Washington, D.C., and how Capitol Hill and the White House make decisions that affect your flying. Huerta, who took the reins of the FAA in December 2011, will discuss the agency’s priorities for the coming years. Pilots can attend the session at 9 a.m. Oct. 12 in the Convention Center to find out how politics and policy will affect their flying.
