AirShares Elite, a fractional ownership company, has expanded its operation to Australia.
AirShares Elite is offering an international option in its small aircraft fractional ownership program.
The Atlanta-based operation supporting fractional owners of Cirrus SR22 aircraft in 15 U.S. cities announced a new partnership with an Australian operator this month, offering fractional owners an option based in Melbourne at Moorabbin Airport.
“We’ve always strived to provide our customers with the largest support network possible,” said Kevin Price, president of AirShares Elite, in a news release. “This new partnership provides our customers not only with access to Australian based aircraft but with the local resources and support they will need to serve as pilot in command in foreign skies."
Australian customers of Avia AirShares in Melbourne will likewise be able to fly out of the U.S. locations, an arrangement AirShares touts as unique in the fractional ownership industry.
AirShares Elite maintains a fleet of late model Cirrus SR22 aircraft equipped with Garmin Perspective avionics, offering packages that include transition training.
