Enterprise Holdings tops J.D. Power customer satisfaction

J.D. Power and Associates released its 2013 North America Rental Car Satisfaction Study Nov. 5, ranking National at the top of customer satisfaction, followed by Enterprise and Alamo, respectively. All three are owned by Enterprise Holdings, a strategic partner of AOPA.

The three brands took the top spots in 2012, but this year National eclipsed Enterprise for the lead. The study was based on more than 12,000 evaluations from business and leisure customers who rented cars at an airport between August 2012 and August 2013.

AOPA and Enterprise Holdings entered a strategic partnership in 2012. Enterprise was founded by Jack Taylor, a decorated Navy fighter pilot during World War II who named the company after the USS Enterprise.

AOPA members can receive special savings on car rentals by booking with one of the Enterprise companies online. Members also can find out if Enterprise services their general aviation airport destination by looking at the bottom of the specific airport’s page in AOPA Airports. Enterprise Rent-A-Car has more than 5,500 locations in North America and offers service to 3,000 GA airports and fixed-base operators.

National and Alamo offer members up to 25 percent off, among other coupons and special packages, when booking through AOPA’s website.
