Piper, ATP unveil iPad POHs

Piper Aircraft and Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) have created electronic pilot's operating handbooks (E-POH) for the manufacturer’s M-class and twin-class aircraft using ATP’s HubConnect app for iPad.

Both companies will have experts available at Piper's static aircraft display at Airportfest at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport during AOPA Aviation Summit Oct. 10 and 12 to demonstrate the new E-POH libraries on the iPad. E-POH libraries include those for the M-class Meridian, Matrix, and Mirage, and the twin-class Piper Seneca V and Seminole. The HubConnect App for iPad provides access to POH information as well as supplemental documentation.

"These new E-POH libraries give Piper operators and owners anywhere, anytime access to the documentation necessary to support their compliance and safety efforts," the company said in a news release. All E-POH libraries from ATP include airworthiness directives (AD), service bulletins (SB), and special airworthiness information bulletins (SAIB) related to the aircraft model. Libraries also include advisory circular (AC) 43-16A maintenance alerts and the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM). An E-POH library subscription includes daily revision services to all content.

In addition to Piper pilot's operating handbooks, access to all Piper maintenance publications and regulatory documents is available exclusively through the ATP Aviation Hub Online Service and the NavigatorV Desktop Platform from ATP.
