Catch seminars, activities at AOPA’s new AirVenture location

AOPA expands presence at Oshkosh

Attendees at EAA AirVenture can learn about advanced iPad flying or radio communication, meet AOPA President Mark Baker, or attend a Pilot Town Hall at the AOPA activity tent, part of the association’s expanded presence at the show.

AOPA has a bigger and better location right on the flight line at the Oshkosh, Wisconsin, event this year, with a new outdoor seating area, perfect for airshow viewing. The new activity tent will host a full schedule of educational seminars, meet-and-greets, and special events—look for the yellow activity tent next to AOPA’s main tent, across from the brown arch at the corner of Wittman Road and Waukau Avenue.

On July 28 and Aug. 2 at noon, “Stump the IA” with Mike Busch. Find out more about “Murphy’s Aeronautical Laws” July 29 at 10 a.m. or “Radio Communication Done Right” July 30 at noon with AOPA Foundation President Bruce Landsberg. Plus, find out about “Advanced iPad Flying” from Bret Koebbe of Sporty’s Academy at 2 p.m. on July 31.
