Question of the Week
Question

I earned my sport pilot certificate a couple of years ago and now want to move on to bigger, faster aircraft. Where can I find information about the latest changes for transitioning from the sport pilot certificate to the private pilot certificate?
Answer
Details on the final rule published on June 27 can be found in this AOPA Online article. Sport pilots who received their training from a sport pilot instructor can start counting that training toward their private pilot certificate on July 27.
