King Schools opens Cessna Flight Training System to all providers

Any flight school, college, university, or high school can now access the Cessna Flight Training System that King Schools and Cessna Aircraft have evolved over the past 20 years. The system includes online courses and a course tracking application that allows flight schools to track customer progress.

The courses can be completed on a computer or mobile device, and through the iOS student app, customers can work on the courses offline and then update their progress when it is synced online. Similarly, flight instructors can view their students’ progress and record flights offline and then sync the updates once connected to the internet.

King Schools also announced that they have made all of their A&P mechanic courses available online. Boeing estimates that 101,000 new mechanics will be needed by 2034, so King Schools is making is mechanic products easier to access. The powerplant, airframe, and general knowledge courses can be purchased and viewed online. Through the King companion app for iPad or iPhone, the courses can be downloaded for offline use. The test-prep courses cost $199 each and include lifetime updates.
