Somewhere between wearing a super computer on your wrist and having a fashion piece that tells time is the YES Equilibrium wristwatch. It offers clever functions with a style you will be proud to show off.
Designer Bjorn Kartomten said the idea for the watch came from a simple question. He was vacationing and wanted to take a walk on the beach at sunrise. But when was that? He set out to make a watch that answers that and many other questions.
Through a series of clever, ringed outer displays, the watch shows sunset and sunrise, civil twilight, moonrise, and moonset. You’ll also be informed of moon phases, solstices, and equinoxes for your current location.
Of course, there are the standard alarms, timers, and a reliable compass. Setting up the watch takes a bit of patience. All these functions, including a bright night mode, are buried within menus accessed by four buttons. You start by setting up your current city location from a list of hundreds, or set your own. But support is good and once you learn the functions using the watch is quite easy.
