Plane Spotter
AOPA
Is this seat taken?
A tiny single-engine aerobatic jet distinctive for its V tail and a turbojet engine mounted atop the rear fuselage is an easy tally for a plane spotter, but the day is coming when a SubSonex jet will have to be logged as either the original one-place, 900-pound JSX–2, or a new two-place JSX–2T that weighs in at 1,500 pounds. Sonex Aircraft announced in July that a kit for a two-seat variant was in the works at company headquarters (Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin) just before EAA AirVenture began. Question

You're reviewing the sectional for any "gotchas" that might present themselves during your upcoming practical test, and notice several markings and symbols that you can't find in the sectional legend. Where can you find explanations for these?
Answer
The FAA's Aeronautical Chart User's Guide is your source for this information. It covers both VFR and IFR terms and symbols.
