Lightspeed, EAA award headsets to student pilots
The Lightspeed Aviation Foundation and the EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship Program have recognized the aviation accomplishments of 80 young people by distributing Zulu 3 ANR headsets to them since the program began in 2019. A Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset is awarded to each scholar upon completion of his or her solo flight and ground school requirements.
2021 Spaceport America Cup dates announced
The next Spaceport America Cup intercollegiate rocketry competition where students launch rockets to target altitudes of 10,000 feet and 30,000 feet has been set for June 22 to 26, 2021, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The 2020 event attracted interest from 200 teams, 154 universities, and 17 countries before it was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
