Question

Does the FAA have the same minimum time requirements as flight schools or insurance carriers?
Answer
Although it is legal to adhere to the FAA minimum times required before flying a different aircraft (or flying your own aircraft after a break), the insurance policy, the flight school, or your personal limits may require additional hours. Be sure you know which minimums apply to you before you take off. Read the full answer and join the discussion >
