Question of the Week
Question

My flight instructor said AOPA has an online course that will satisfy the ground portion of the flight review, but I cannot find it. Does AOPA have such a course?
Answer
There is no AOPA course that by itself officially satisfies the minimum of one hour of ground instruction required by FAR 61.56. AOPA's Focused Flight Review and our Rusty Pilots online course may be acceptable to fulfill some or all of the ground requirement, but since the CFI giving the flight review makes that call, it might be a good idea to discuss the process in advance.
