Aviation Showcase at FDK September 8 and 9

AOPA’s Aviator Showcase is back, and it will be held at AOPA headquarters in Frederick, Maryland, September 8 and 9.

Volunteer opportunities / Get a behind-the-scenes look at how AOPA puts on our events by working side by side with our team as a volunteer. Join other pilots and aviation enthusiasts serving in either airside or show-side roles: marshalling and parking aircraft, greeting attendees, helping with event set-up or clean-up, and assisting exhibitors. Registering as a volunteer is part of the event registration process. Click the “Volunteer” link to register. aopa.org/community

Oasis at Triple Tree / Join AOPA at Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina, for the sixteenth annual Triple Tree Fly-In September 18 through 24. Land on the 7,000-foot grass runway, camp out on the 400-acre idyllic property, and join fellow aviation enthusiasts for one of the premier events on the East Coast. Kick off the show on Friday, September 8, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then stay for the happy hour and interact with exhibitors. Exhibit hours continue Saturday, September 9, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with the addition of educational seminars presented by event sponsors.

Looking to upgrade or still searching for the perfect aircraft? Aviation services such as paint shops, avionics manufacturers, and aircraft detailers will be there to help. You can also talk to financiers, insurers, and dealers about buying the aircraft of your dreams.

The AOPA Aviator Showcase shows off the industry’s latest products and services. Pilots and aircraft owners come eager not only to see, but also to learn, and buy; they are hungry for the latest information on new aircraft, avionics, flight planning tools, safety resources, and aviation services.
