AOPA's Air Safety Institute Releases "Peak Performance: TITAN Aerobatic Team Video"

FREDERICK, Md.—The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Air Safety Institute (ASI) released a new video in its Peak Performance video series.

Join AOPA’s Air Safety Institute Senior Vice President Mike Ginter as he flies with the TITAN Aerobatic Team at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to explore how they safely and with precision execute their tight-formation aerobatics routine.

“In Peak Performance: TITAN Aerobatic Team, I witnessed their safety culture firsthand. While having fun, each pilot is humble, disciplined, professional, intensely focused, and committed to excellence," said AOPA's ASI Senior Vice President Mike Ginter.

Ginter continued, “I have immense respect for how the Titan Team incorporates its safety culture in all they do—whether on the ground or in the air.”

“As general aviation pilots, we fly in an environment that likewise demands a strong safety culture requiring discipline, professionalism, focus, and commitment to excellence whenever we operate our aircraft,” Ginter concluded.

Peak Performance videos explore high-risk, high-performing flight operations where pilots and crews push themselves and their aircraft to the edge of performance, doing so safely. The video series aims to improve our flying in general aviation.
