'AOPA Presents' is a new video series

Capturing the spirit and essence of general aviation, the AOPA digital content team has launched a new video series titled AOPA Presents.

Who we are

Josh Cochran, digital media manager, is a private pilot. Brianna Cabassa and Jamal Warner are our content producers, both actively learning about general aviation.
Video Editor Michelle Walker holds a sport pilot certificate, is an aircraft owner, and is working toward her private pilot certificate.

These mini documentaries bring to life monumental aviation events, the history of aircraft, and unique aviation stories.

AOPA Presents features a quarterly series of 10- to 25-minute films, produced by AOPA in-house videographers. These films will bring stories to life on why people love to fly, through stunning visuals and captivating storylines.

The series premiered June 14 on AOPA’s YouTube channel with “Wings of the Iditarod”—the story of the pilots who help enable the iconic Alaskan race. The piece was filmed and edited by AOPA Video Content Producer Jamal Warner. Look for Alicia Herron’s story and Chris Rose’s photos in an upcoming issue of AOPA Pilot.

“To go on location and film this story was truly a dream,” Warner said about the opportunity. “We hear and see so much about the race from ground level; it’s really something else to see it from a totally new perspective, and we feel viewers will embrace that new view.”
