Standout sweeps paint schemes
Craig Barnett and his team at Scheme Designers have created paint schemes for all but two of the 28 AOPA sweepstakes airplanes over the years, and this year he and his team created more than a dozen vibrant schemes for the AOPA Sweepstakes Aviat Husky.
Since 1997, Scheme Designers has been pioneering the business of aircraft paint schemes and vinyl designs. The team provides these ideas to AOPA for free, helping to give back to the aviation community.
Once a design is chosen, Scheme Designers creates a realistic 3D computer model of the aircraft with the new paint scheme. It can be viewed from all angles to make sure it’s perfect. The team then provides paint shops with detailed specifications and templates to make sure the design is reproduced to Scheme Designers’ exacting standards.
We’ve whittled the options for the AOPA Sweepstakes Aviat Husky down to three we love, and one lucky pilot will win this airplane after the sweepstakes entry period ends on June 15, 2026.
