We've got your back

AOPA's new membership campaign launched at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin, with "We've got your back" in bold letters all over the campus.

These simple words represent the wide range of services that AOPA provides, including our work advocating on behalf of pilots such as Darrin Smedsmo of Minnesota, whose Stinson was impounded for months after an emergency landing. Our staff also advocates to preserve airports and the freedom to use them, helps lead the safe transition to unleaded fuel, assists pilots who face medical or legal challenges, and maintains and modernizes the ongoing mission to help everyone in the general aviation community continue making GA safer than ever.

AOPA Senior Photographer David Tulis captured these scenes that show what we mean. Anyone lucky enough to be at Wittman Regional Airport should stop by the AOPA campus to watch the AOPA Sweepstakes Piper Archer paint scheme being created during the week. AOPA also offers prime airshow seats to members.
