"On the Numbers"
AOPA members chose Thomas Klein's photograph of a Cirrus SR22 about to land on a mountaintop runway in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains as the June "Photo of the Month" in the AOPA Pilot 2006 General Aviation Photography Contest.
Klein is a 350-hour private pilot from Charleston, South Carolina, who owns a partnership in a Cirrus SR20 and SR22.
The contest runs through August and you can submit your own general aviation photographs every month. Cash prizes totaling more than $7,700 will be awarded, including a grand prize of $1,750.
