The FAA should hold additional public meetings, and change the format for those meetings, before making a final decision on plans to expand the Chicago Class B airspace, AOPA told the agency. In an Oct. 9 letter ( http://download.aopa.org/epilot/2008/081012il.pdf ), AOPA noted that the FAA published incorrect addresses for two of the three meetings it has already held, possibly affecting pilot participation. AOPA is asking the agency to schedule additional meetings and change them from an "open house" format to a format that includes presentations about the proposal and allows all participants to hear the questions and concerns of other attendees.
