Fuller to speak at Washington State aviation events

AOPA members are invited to join AOPA President Craig Fuller at the Washington Seaplane Pilots Association 2012 Grounded Hogs Dinner on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Skyline Room of the Museum of Flight in Seattle. In addition to hearing Fuller speak, attendees can listen to author Mike Kincaid recount tales of flying as a law enforcement officer in Alaska.

Those who arrive early can get a free visit to the Museum of Flight. During the event, purchase raffle tickets to win prizes including lodging and guided saltwater fishing at the Eagle Nook Resort on the west coast of Vancouver Island, B.C.; a ride a long on a bush adventure up the Canadian coast in the right seat in a De Havilland Beaver from Northwest Seaplanes; dual time in a Beaver or Super Cub from Kenmore Air Harbor; new avionics by J.P. Instruments; custom hardware from RAM Mount; an oil change from Ace Aviation; an inflatable fly fishing vest from Mustang Survival; a David Clark headset; a flight review; an FAA medical; and seaplane-related items like books, shirts, sunglasses, hats, and more.

The cost for the evening is $59 per person and sign-ups are limited.

Then, take in the Northwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show in Puyallup, Wash., on Feb. 25 and 26. Fuller will provide the keynote address at 1 p.m. on Feb. 25 to discuss issues that directly affect how you fly now and into the future.
