The IMC Club is meant to foster a social setting where instrument pilots can discuss various techniques, situations, and scenarios in order to maintain currency. The Redbird Skyport chapter will offer members the additional benefit of actually putting some of the scenarios to practice.
For the nominal dues of $3 a month, chapter members will be able to fly a pre-determined scenario in the Skyport’s simulators. As part of the program, Redbird will be sending the scenarios to IMC Club chapters around the country for their use.
Josh Harnagel, Skyport’s marketing director, said the chapter is open to all current, less-than-current, and future instrument pilots. “IMC Club has created a great structure for instrument pilots to network and learn from each other in a social setting. We are excited to build this program at Skyport,” he said.
