Waypoint proposed to replace Moultrie VOR on V-537

v357

The FAA has proposed to establish a navigation fix on airway V-537 between Macon, Ga., and Palm Beach, Fla., to replace the Moultrie VOR/DME, which has been scheduled for decommissioning.

The fix, to be formed by the intersection of a radial from the Greenville, Fla., Vortac and a radial from the Macon, Ga., Vortac, would maintain the current ground track of the airway, the FAA said.

AOPA encourages members to review the FAA’s proposed amendment of the airway and submit comments by Nov. 29.

Comments may be submitted online or by mail to U.S. Department of Transportation, Docket Operations, M–30, 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE., West Building Ground Floor, Room W12–140, Washington, DC 20590–0001. Please cite FAA Docket No. FAA–2012–0971 and Airspace Docket No. 12–ASO–31 at the beginning of your comments.
