FREDERICK, MD – The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s (AOPA) Aviation Finance Co., now offers members in Alaska and Hawaii competitive aircraft loans that were previously difficult to acquire.

While most aircraft lenders are unable to offer financing outside of the continental United States, AOPA Aviation Finance Co., is working with a lender that has agreed to fill personal use aircraft financing needs for AOPA members in Alaska and Hawaii.

AOPA Finance can now offer those members traditional aircraft loans with competitive rates and terms up to 15 years. This new program was developed based on feedback from AOPA members who requested these services.

“We’ve just made it easier and more affordable for AOPA members in Alaska and Hawaii to acquire aircraft at competitive loan rates,” said Adam Meredith, president of the AOPA Aviation Finance Co. “Because of their location, aircraft owners in these two states have experienced some difficulty acquiring financing from mainland banks. But no more. AOPA’s breaking down that barrier with this new program.”

AOPA Aviation Finance offers a variety of loan structures including attractive fixed rates, and convenient auto pay options. Knowledgeable and friendly AOPA loan specialists help AOPA members find the best aircraft terms for their financing needs.

AOPA Finance also features fast time-to-ownership with quick decisions from financing partners not always available to the general public, helping members procure the right aircraft when it comes on the market.
