“Textron Aviation is committed to building and delivering aircraft that meet our customers’ needs and the Turbo Stationair HD is the latest example of our continued investment in the piston product line,” said Doug May, vice president of piston aircraft.

The airplane on static display at EAA AirVenture has a Garmin G1000 avionics suite with synthetic vision; Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast Out capability; a turbocharged 310-horsepower Lycoming TIO-540-AJ1A engine; and a McCauley three-blade, constant-speed, heated propeller. It also has a flat floor, stowable seats, and a cargo pod.
