AOPA works for members at the state and local level across the United States. Catch up on what the association has done for you recently in the Northwest Mountain region.
Northwest Mountain Regional Manager Warren Hendrickson recently met with the FAA Airports Division’s new manager for the area and set out a list of activities and events planned for the region. Hendrickson was scheduled to participate in more than a dozen events in seven states over the course of just a few weeks. They include the Montana Aviation Conference in Helena March 3 through 5; the Utah Airport Operators Association Conference in St.George March 9 through 11; the FAA’s Northwest Mountain Region conference March 28 through 30 in Seattle, Washington; and the Idaho Airport Management Association Meeting in Sun Valley April 17 through 19. At many of the events on his calendar, Hendrickson will provide updates on AOPA activities, including state advocacy efforts, and talk about ways to support general aviation, grow the pilot population, and make flying more accessible.
