Question of the Week
Question

I've been looking into getting my pilot certificate in Canada. I've heard it's easier for pilots who already have an FAA certificate, which I do, but I haven't found any guidance. Where can I find some information?
Answer
The FAA and Transport Canada have an agreement that allows for easier conversions of certificates between the two aviation authorities. This Transport Canada Advisory Circular outlines the application process.

This question and answer were provided by AOPA's Pilot Information Center. Got a question for our technical services staff? Contact AOPA.
