Question

My aircraft is scheduled for an international flight, and I have not received my permanent registration. What can I do?
Answer
If you are waiting on your permanent registration or you have not filed the registration paperwork yet, you can request priority handling for your application. The FAA can fax you a 30-day Temporary Certificate of Registration that is good for operations outside of the United States. All documents must be in order, and the aircraft must meet airworthiness requirements. Keep in mind this process is reserved for scheduled international operations—the FAA will verify that the aircraft made the flight. Join the discussion >
