Meet us in Utah

AOPA and the Air Safety Institute hope to see you at the second annual Utah Aeronautics Conference in Layton, Utah, June 20 to 22 for three days of aviation education, professional networking, and a keynote speech from AOPA President Mark Baker.

The Utah Aeronautics Conference will welcome AOPA members and hundreds of aviation industry leaders, professionals, state and local officials, mechanics, students, and members of the community to gain expert advice, collaborate, and bask in their mutual love for aviation. Visitors will enjoy interactive exhibits as well as drone racing and package delivery demonstrations.

AOPA will be reaching out to the aviation community with educational presentations and an in-person session of our popular Rusty Pilots Seminar. The seminar is free for AOPA members, and takes place on the opening day of the conference, June 20, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. A welcome reception for conference attendees will begin that evening at 6 p.m.

The next day, June 21, kicks off at 7:30 a.m. for registration and breakfast, followed by general sessions and a variety of breakout sessions. At noon, Baker will make his lunchtime keynote speech, followed by more networking opportunities and breakout sessions.

Other internationally known keynote speakers in attendance include Toni Mensching, a flying test bed pilot for Northrop Grumman; Scott Glaser, president and CEO of Aerospace Operations LLC and chief test pilot for Tactical Air Support Inc.; and Erin Lear, founder of Lear Avia Inc., and the youngest grandchild of William “Bill” P. Lear, inventor of the Learjet.

The last day of the event, June 22, is another great opportunity for aviation education, keynote speakers, and networking. In the evening, attendees can enjoy a delicious dinner at the annual awards ceremony.

The conference is one of only three major annual AOPA-sponsored aviation conferences taking place in the Northwest Mountain region, so register for the conference today. AOPA members receive $50 off the $150 conference admission price.
