New AOPA video content just for you

Learn about exciting changes ahead

Fly with AOPA is about to evolve, along with our other video content.

I want to take a moment to announce some changes regarding our weekly video news show, Fly with AOPA. Over the past 18 months, many of you have made it a tradition to tune in to Fly with AOPA on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings, and we're incredibly grateful for the bond we've built with you through this platform.

As we continue to evolve and adapt to the preferences of today's viewers, we've noticed our YouTube audience has shown a preference for shorter, more diverse video content. In response to this trend, we’re transitioning away from the weekly Fly with AOPA show format. While we’ll still produce the show occasionally at the Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, and other special aviation events, we’re doubling down on our commitment to delivering high-quality content through our regular videos.

These videos will continue to be posted on our AOPA YouTube channel throughout the week and cover a wide range of interests, such as pilot reports, aircraft walkarounds, and in-depth advocacy content, along with many more topics that we have heard that you, as viewers, would like to see.

If you haven’t subscribed to our channel yet, YouTube's "subscribe" feature will generate YouTube notifications as our newest content is posted. Our video newsletter will continue to go out on Saturday mornings, featuring a roundup of our newest content. AOPA members, and nonmembers with an AOPA online account, can always opt in (on their account preferences page) to receive the AOPA Video newsletter.

These platforms will be your go-to sources for the latest aviation updates, keeping you informed and entertained.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Alyssa Cobb for her dedication as the host of Fly with AOPA.

Thank you for your continued support and for being an integral part of the AOPA community. We look forward to continuing to serve you with high-quality, informative, and entertaining video content.

Blue skies.
