The Schiff Show is reimagining aviation education by offering pilots, mechanics, and aviation enthusiasts a weeklong cruise that combines aviation seminars with a vacation on the Mexican Riviera.
Hosted by airline captain and veteran educator Brian Schiff, the son of aviation expert and AOPA columnist Barry Schiff, this event features seven days at sea aboard the Discovery Princess from February 13 through 20, 2027. It includes three seminar days packed with flying, safety, and proficiency sessions led by 18 aviation educators, with multiple courses eligible for FAA Wings pilot proficiency program credit.
Unlike some traditional industry conferences, the event is structured to provide attendees with informal access to presenters outside the classroom. Participants will have the opportunity to network, find mentorship, and chat with presenters, including Brian and Barry Schiff, during group dinners, between sessions, or on shore excursions.
The cruise itinerary includes stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Spouses, families, and friends are invited to attend. While aviators participate in the seminars, companions can access the ship's amenities, which include Valentine’s Day celebrations and a Super Bowl watch party. Complete details are available on The Schiff Show’s website.
