Starting this month, the Turbine Edition section is going bimonthly, and it’s getting bigger.

That means deeper dives, more content, and a bigger dedicated section for the turboprop and jet content you want, appearing in January, March, May, July, September, and November issues.

In the months between, you’ll still receive the full AOPA Pilot magazine with all the feature stories, columns, and articles you love. No turbine cover or dedicated section those months...but plenty of content on proficiency, ownership, and the people and experiences that make general aviation great.

Piston flying is the backbone of the GA community, from first solos to fly-ins, from weekend cross-countries to mountain strips—and across our membership, we heard from pilots who missed seeing piston aircraft on the cover. That feedback led us to take a closer look at how and when we deliver turbine content to our members. The turbine content you rely on isn’t going away. It’s simply moving to a different cadence.
