Sikorsky Innovations, the technology development arm of the Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., has announced its second annual Entrepreneurial Challenge competition. Aimed at identifying and accelerating the development of emerging technologies, the competition is open to any small company with revenue under $5 million.
The contest focuses on five key questions, which are posted on the Sikorsky Innovations website. The questions target the aerospace market and the competition deadline is 5 p.m. on Oct. 10. Potential winners will participate in a final round of competition at Sikorsky headquarters in Stratford, Conn. One or more winners may be selected.
Winning teams will receive one-year, rent-free space within the Stamford Innovation Center, three months in a Sikorsky education center, and a technical mentor. The goal of the Sikorsky Innovations is to advance the technologies, products, and processes that will redefine the future of vertical flight.
