Question of the Week
Question

I'm adding a helicopter rating to my private pilot certificate and I will need a flight review soon. Can I complete my flight review in the helicopter during training?
Answer
No. You must complete the flight review in an aircraft for which you're rated (see FAR 61.56). Because you aren't currently rated for helicopters, you cannot accomplish a flight review in one.

This question and answer were provided by AOPA's Pilot Information Center. Got a question for our technical services staff? Contact AOPA.
