Final Exam
Question

If I am night current, does that also satisfy the FAR 61.57(a) general experience requirement? I have always thought that a pilot could accomplish night takeoffs and landings and satisfy both paragraphs (a) and (b). I spoke with a colleague who maintained that the requirements must be met separately.
Answer
You are correct because nothing in FAR 61.57(a) says those takeoffs and landings must be conducted in daytime.
