Question

Do the coronavirus-related restrictions on nonessential travel to Canada affect flights from the United States that will overfly Canada but are not expected to land in Canada (for example, a flight from western New York to Michigan through southern Ontario)?
Answer
As of October 20, overflights that will not land in Canada are still approved. However, before any flight, you should check U.S. and Canadian regulations. Canada currently only allows people traveling for essential purposes from the United States to land and enter through its ports of entry. Join the discussion >
