Question

If a pilot legally flies to another airport for a flight test and fails the test, is it still legal for the pilot to fly back to his or her home airport?
Answer
Yes. FAA Flight Standards Information Management System, Form 8060-5, Notice of Disapproval of Application indicates that performance was unsatisfactory for the issuance of the certificate or rating sought. The pilot's credentials don't change. Read the full answer and join the discussion >
