Question of the Week
Question

As a Part 107 pilot and property manager, how do I get a waiver to fly in the Washington, D.C., Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) to do roof inspections and other projects?
Answer
You can apply for a waiver to operate within the FRZ (inner ring) of the SFRA online. A Transportation Security Administration/FAA waiver and Special Government Interest waiver/Certificate of Authorization are required for operations within the FRZ. Join the discussion >
